Volunteer Projects

Office staff volunteer for one 3.5 hour shift a week.  Duties include greeting people, taking attendance, answering the phone, taking messages, etc.  Office volunteers receive free classes for being a regular volunteer.

Instructors teach a 90-minute class on a subject of their choice.  See the Teach webpage. 

The Curriculum Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at 1pm.    Team members brainstorm about class topics and who might teach them.

Volunteers receive PILLAR classes for free.

Classroom hosts read the class announcements and the instructor bio before class starts.  After class, the host straightens and disinfects the classroom.   Hosts receive the class they are hosting for free.

Special projects can be putting together spreadsheets, editing the class catalog, or keeping track of statistics.  It all depends on your skills.

Fundraising volunteers may work on the annual Peach fundraiser or create a new fundraiser to raise money for PILLAR.
